It will show how they have processed the data and selected the most pertinent information. This will allow the instructor to give them credit for researching by looking at what and how much they have read and highlighted. Once completed, students who are not good readers have the entire body of work to refer to. If one’s research is poor, then so, too, is the paper. The use of Diigo can provide opportunities for students to apply higher level thinking skills while researching and gathering information before they begin the writing process.
